 FORUT
is a development charity that originates from Norway where
it was founded in 1981. It is a Banjul registered non-governmental
organisation whose objectives are to raise the living standards
of the poor in target areas, inform them of their rights and
duties and to advocate for joint development to promote self-reliance
with a focus on women
and youth
of The Gambia.
The international charity is engaged in capacity
building in women, relief
work, youth
and adult vocational
training, health education
and alcohol
and drug abuse programs.
