Information:
This is a registered non-governmental organisation established
as a Christian mission in 1973 to help women to become self-sufficient
by providing them with income creation skills.
The charitable organisation was founded by Adele Faye Njie
as an organisation comprised of Catholic women which has since
established local branches in Bakau, Lamin, Serrekunda, Fajikunda
and Banjul. In 1989 St. Martha's Society, in association with
the YWCA, founded a skills centre at Fajikunda training girls
and young women.
