Information:
Bungalow Beach Hotel Craft Market, or BB Be for short, was
established back in the year 1975 to formalize the activities of
women selling their home made baskets to visitors on Kotu Strand
beach.
Then an international organisation donated a
purpose built market structures adjacent to the beach. This was
later extended in size in 2009 to allow for a new total of 41
stalls.
You can find wooden drums, necklaces, African tie
dye clothing and hats, paintings, calabash gourds, balafons, and
even stuffed toys, sunglasses, baseball caps.
