Information:
As
part of the Standard Group the SICL's Banjul branch are insurance brokers
who offer risk management brokerage services for their clientele by
negotiating with insurance underwriters on their behalf. The local
branch was inaugurated in Banjul on the 20 January, 2011.
The brokerage firm was founded in Nigeria in 1980 and has for over
three decades expanded into a prominent company with over 150
clerical and professional members of staff.
Support for their local operations involving petroleum, freight cargo
and marine hull, aviation, is provided by the reinsurance brokers,
Willis Limited of London.
