The
Gambia's Vibes Radio
Station 106.1 FM (Sunnu Radio) is a privately owned digital radio station
located near Kotu. It commenced transmitting its daily shows on the
1st of January 2011 under its celebrity proprietor Momodou Sirang
Jallow a.k.a. DJ Mo.
Their daily shows consist of a mixture of reggae music, RnB, sports, news in
English and Wolof, and youth programmes. Their broadcast
coverage is relayed as far as Basse Town and even up to Dakar, in
Senegal.
The station often links up with Daflava Radio &
Natural Vibes Sound System who are based in Atlanta, Georgia, USA
under DJ Rico.
