Review:
The Bungalow Beach Hotel is made up of
4 storey accommodation-blocks which
are in front of the Kotu
sea sands. All
the single and double
suits come with a Nordic
style lounge, kitchenette
with fridge and twin
hotplates; separate
bedroom with large,
built-in wardrobe and showeroom.
Local
palms and a paved parking
circle front both the
boutique, mini-market and
internet room and modest
structure. Coming from the
low-key lounge and
reception, a passageway
ends in the conference
room which can seat 50 or
cater for receptions of
150 guests. Encircled by
artificial grass sundeck,
the small pool &
children's paddling area
are resplendent in season
with a boundary of deep
red bougainvillea.
Designed and built in 1973
by Stig Bengtsson it
forms the Kotu coastal
road head. The current
owner is Ardy Sarge. |
