The Equator Lodge is on the beach on the edge of Kartong village, south west Gambia. It is also known as Tamba Kuruba Lodge.

Review:
The Equator Lodge (aka Tamba Kuruba) is located very near to the Kartong beach in the south West of the Gambia. There are miles of empty, unspoilt beach to chose from in which to relax.

The accommodation huts are simply furnished and there is plenty of space between the rooms. The beds are large and comfortable and come complete with a bed net. Each unit has it own private porch giving you privacy and relaxation to enjoy the evening sky or an afternoon of sunbathing.

The standard room rate includes breakfast. The lunch and dinner is is simple but has flavour and is prepared by an experienced chef.
