that regarding excursions
to
Sindola Safari Lodge
you should contact the
Kairaba
Hotel who manage the
complex. It lies 115 Km
from Kololi Beach. If you
are an independent
traveller then you should
phone the lodge first to
check for availability.
This distinctive bush
lodge is on almost 30,000
sq metres of partially
landscaped tropical
environment. It offers a
serene surroundings set
among the lawns are
numerous rhun palms,
coconut trees,
bougainvilleas and
majestic baobabs.
You can go on a birdwatching
trip to the bird sanctuary with
the many species or visit
the tropical fruit orchard
with its colourful
butterflies. There are
regular bush trek safari,
which are overseen by a
well experienced Park
Ranger. You can also visit
the nearby game park.
The centrepiece of the
lodge is
its large, natural pond
which is stocked with
fish. This area is visible
by guests from the
restaurant.
How to get there:
The trip by road, which
leads through the scenic
country side, will take
about 2 hours by
air-conditioned coach from
the
Kairaba or you can pay
a taxi around D3000 for
the outbound trip only.
If you are
going by local transport
you should take a bush
taxi from Brikama and

point where the south-bank
highway and the road to
