Insurance is the Gambia's oldest insurance company and used to be
owned by British interests until it later moved into a Gambian owned
company. Prior to its this it used to be called Northern Insurance until
the early 1970s. They have a number of branches up-river and on the
North Bank at Basse, Barra and Soma.
