Information:
The Mission
pursues Gambia's interests in the UN through advocacy of the country's
views and promotion of their interests by negotiating with other member states to
advance The Gambia's foreign policy objectives.
The Mission
represents the country at
UN conferences and meetings in New York,
including sessions of the General Assembly. It also participates in
the ongoing work of the United Nation's other bodies.

His Excellency Mr. Crispin Grey-Johnson Ambassador Extraordinary and
Plenipotentiary.
Prior to his current appointment, Mr. Grey-Johnson had been High
Commissioner to Sierra Leone and Ambassador to Côte d’Ivoire and
Liberia since 1999. From 1997 to 1999, he served as Ambassador to the
United States, Brazil and Venezuela, and as High Commissioner to
Canada.
