Information:
International Business College is the alternative route to
success in Business subjects.
In partnership with Stockport College, West London College and
other colleges in the U.K. Higher Education in The Gambia and
UK. Full time or part time available.
Courses:
The Higher National Certificate
sanctions one year of study in a particular stream. It is recognised
widely in the world, and accepted as satisfying the conditions of
entry to further study leading to the HND and University degrees.
The Higher National Diploma
allows two years of study in a particular stream. It is recognised
widely in the world, and accepted as satisfying the conditions of
entry to further study leading to the MBA or the BA
The Bachelor of Arts Degree
consists three years of study in a particular stream. It is a standard
University degree recognised worldwide. The HND covers the first two
years and the BA top-up the third year.
The Master of Business Administration
The MBA is
made up of two years of intensive study in business disciplines. It is
the acknowledged key to higher positions in Enterprises
Cost of Tuition:
In The Gambia at
the International Business College the HNC/HND/BA/MBA courses cost
D18.000 to D20.000 per year, with a 50% deposit and instalments on 1
January and 1 April.
There is no exam fee for the college's HNC/HND certificates. The
British BTEC HNC/HND/DMS external exam fee has now been specially
reduced for Gambian students from D13,000 to D9,000. The fees include
the use of a computer (as at November, 2008).
