With effect from May 19, 2008, NAA's scheduled service operations
were discontinued until further notice.
North American Airlines (NAA) is based at JFK International
Airport (New York) and it began its non-stop scheduled
flights to and from Banjul on the 5th June, 2006.
This was caused by a lack of sufficient passenger numbers
in order for the carrier to operate at a profit. The company
also has a non-stop flights service from Baltimore-Washington
International (BWI) to the West African airports of Accra
in Ghana and Lagos in Nigeria. They also fly to Georgetown
in Guyana, West Indies.
