Information:
North
American Airlines (NAA) is based at JFK International Airport (New
York) and it began
its non-stop scheduled flights to and from Banjul on the 5th June, 2006.
This was caused by a lack of sufficient passenger numbers in order for
the carrier to operate at a profit. The company also has a non-stop
flights service from
Baltimore-Washington International (BWI) to the West African airports of Accra in Ghana and Lagos in
Nigeria. They also fly to Georgetown in Guyana, West Indies.
Operational Fleet & Staff:
NAA is a
fully certificated U.S. Flag Carrier certified to operate scheduled
and chartered flights. The airline has 5 Boeing 757-200 and 5
Boeing 767-300 aircraft which seats about 270 air passengers. It has a
staff of over 600 which includes 100 pilots and 300 flight attendants.
