been doing business in The Gambia since 1951. Today SMGL, a
completely Shell-owned subsidiary, is
providing petrol, diesel, kerosene and lubricants to commercial and retail customers. SMGL
plays an active part in the Gambia Chamber of Commerce
and Industry (GCCI) and developing partnerships with local community
organisations and the government. Its most prominent filling station
is the one at Kairaba Avenue at the
traffic light junction opposite the
Standard Bank.
