The Tilly's Tours
Gambia
Company Limited was formed by Ms. Jackie Church as a small scale ground tour operator in The Gambia, who
specialise in up-country adventure safaris and gap year project breaks with small groups of
between 4 to 10 tourists.
They aim to take you to places
off-the-beaten-track that also allows you to meet local people in order
to broaden you cultural experience. They are fully licensed and registered with
the official tourism authority.
Safaris:
Available up-country
expeditions include half day, full day, and overnight tours. Fishing
and boating trips available and includes a 7 day visits of exploration
to either Badi Mayo otherwise known as the Chimp Rehab Camp,
land based tour to Janjangbureh
(Georgetown) and cruises up the
Gambia River.
River Vessels:
Their boat charters
are crewed by a team of competent and experienced people. All
their boats are inspected by the Ports Authority Inspections and are
Licensed and Registered.
4 Wheel Drive Vehicles:
Their
off-road and on road vehicles are varied and include, Land Rovers,
open roof trucks and small vans.
Responsible Tourism:
In line with their ethical tourism principles, Tilly's promote:-

Employ local bird guides from WABSC.
• Conserve water.
• Turn off lights when not needed.
