Information:
GamTV Gambia Ltd. is a privately owned subscription
based satellite TV station rebroadcasting service. The
company receives international satellite television
programmes and relays them digitally to subscribers
via microwave signals which covers a 26 mile radius,
reaching the Greater Banjul area. Their relayed programmes
are available in English, French and German.
The local cable broadcasting service operates on a 24-hour
basis, and has a backup generator on standby in case
of electrical failure.

How It Works:
You need to get a metal pole, about 1 inch in diameter,
to which the antenna will be fixed. You should acquire
the necessary clamps and brackets to affix the pole
and antenna to a wall of your house. You can buy the
state-of-the-art California Amplifier antenna (CalAmp)
from Gam Cable TV. Subscribers who do not purchase the
CalAmp antenna from Gam Cable TV must purchase a power
supply from GTV.
A refundable deposit is payable on the decoder and payment
of subscription fees for six months in advance. When
you return the decoder in good working order, the decoder
deposit will be refunded to you.
