The unit is a health diagnosis laboratory in Gambia
with modern, imported medical instruments such as Folin-Wu
tube, syringes and needles, high and ultracentrifuge,
microscope, gas chromatograph, microtiter plates, urinalysis
analyzers, microbiological systems, micropipettes, gel
electrophoresis apparatus and other medical equipment.
These are used in diagnostic tests for various health
conditions such as Malaria diagnosis using a malaria
testing kit.
