The PKF Gambia
consultancy is among the longest established, professional
accountancy firms in the Gambia providing accounting
and business advisory services from their Bijilo office
in Greater Banjul.
PKF's international network is a network of legally
independent member firms which has in excess of 230
professional independent member firms in over 400 locations
in over 125 countries.
The PKF International Network is managed by PKF International
Limited (The Licensor). The accountancy firm, formerly
known as Pannell Kerr Forster, was established in 1969
from four founding firms located in the UK, Australia,
United States and Canada. The international association
abbreviated its name to PKF, a name that is well communicated
in most international languages such as the local Wolof.
With approximately 15,000 professional partners and
staff, the member firms of the association have a combined
annual turnover of just over US$2.5 billion (2012).
This figure includes exclusive international correspondent
firms.
PKF International network is a member of the Forum of
Firms - an organisation committed to consistent and
high quality standards of financial reporting and auditing
practices internationally.
The PFK office in Banjul has 22 staff inclusive of 2
partners. Of the 22 staff 6 are fully professionally
qualified partners and 12 are Gambians at various levels
of their Chartered Association of Certified Accountants
examinations.
