tiles or porcelain stoneware. Well suited for living
spaces and are mainly utilised indoors; this glazed
stoneware has unique features that make it an adaptable
material for various surfaces for residential houses
and commercial buildings.
Low porosity (glazed) and high strength makes this product
suitable for locations exposed to dirt, moisture and
wear, such as bathrooms and kitchens. For bathroom floors
unglazed (UGL) stoneware is less slippery.
PORCELAIN TILES:
Porcelain tiles (a type of ceramic tile) is a popular
floor tile because of its slip resistance, low porosity,
durability and stain resistance. Its porosity is very
low; therefore, it is very easy to maintain.

Due to their strength, they are available in larger
sizes and are strongly recommended for high traffic
spaces such as stairs, corridors and kitchens. They
are typically sized at 30x60cm and going beyond 120x120cm,
ranging in thickness from 3mm to 20mm.

the walls of bathrooms and kitchens and is very glossy.
It is very resistant to abrasion and easy to clean due

These are not suitable for outdoor use as they can be
very slippery when wet.
NATURAL STONE:

and its surface brings a contrasting appearance and
character to your home. It offers all the natural shades

sealing to prevent water damage and staining.
GRANITE:
Granite tiles are very durable and commonly used for
flooring both inside and outside. They offer several
benefits including superb durability, resistance to
moisture and stains, and come in a wide range of styles
and colours.
Their hard surface can withstand persistent foot traffic
and is ideal for high-use areas like kitchens and hallways.
MARBLE:
Marble tiling is a lustrous stone that offers many advantages:
tough and well- polished, it has a reflective surface
that can be weathered. They provide a luxurious look,
resist stains and scratches, and can be easily cleaned.
However, under its durable appearance, marble tiles
are a less durable material that require regular up-keep.

Marble is also a more environmentally sustainable choice
for flooring covering.
TERRACOTTA:
Dating back to ancient Rome, terracotta tiles have stood
the test of time. Transport yourself to the rich, rustic,
and sun-soaked Mediterranean with their Saltillo tile
or clay tiles, attractive for indoor or outdoor floor
spaces. Made from easily moulded clay with a high iron
content that gives the tiles their recognisable reddish-brown
colour.
However, Terracotta is still very porous, less resistant
to staining and therefore requires a water sealant /
stain protector.
GLASS BLOCKS:
The main objective of using hollow glass block is to
create sections in the wall in order to maximise sunlight
or other sources of light. Besides, its distinctive
appearance, glass block is desired for its practical
properties. It's strong, sound and weather resistant
and allows for privacy while still transmitting light.

Glass brick is ideal for bathrooms, kitchens and living
rooms where daylight diffusion is an issue. Glass bricks
are available in a variety of translucent colours.

Mosaic tiles can have transparent strong colours, varying
hues, and many faces according to your desires. It can
adorn the walls of your bathroom, your kitchen countertop,
the floor of your lounge, the floor of your swimming
pool or your garden spaces. Mosaic has the advantage
of durability, and resisting moisture and dirt.

The term mosaic essentially means a design that's comprised
of many smaller pieces of tile which can be made of
various materials such as glass, stone, and porcelain.
GLASS MOSAIC:
As the name suggests they are tiles made from glass,
often with each tile encasing a selection of different
smaller, equally sized pieces of varying coloured glass
all set on a mosaic mesh backing sheet to keep the tile
as one.
By being made of many colours, shapes, finishes and
shades, glass mosaic tiles provide excellent avenues
to transform any space in a wide variety of ways.
It is one of the best materials for creating frescos.

Add borders tiles to create the ideal finish to your
wall installation. Border tiles can be great for sectioning
off or separating two areas or rooms.
One great example is the use of borders to distinguish
a dining room and open-plan kitchen. Maybe you want
to section off your shower booth from the rest of the
bathroom.
SKIRTING:
Completing the floor plan, pedestal or skirting must
be selected and planned with care. Skirting should offer
a seamless look between floor and wall - they provide
a seal between the floor and wall as well as avoid sweep
marks against the wall.
They are an easy to clean, durable alternative to wood
skirting boards as they are water resistant and long
lasting.
