trips however are paid by allocation. Your Gambian tourist
escort can take you to some fine restaurants,
to to the beach, visit the local craft
markets, go on a day trip bird
watching or visiting schools. As a tourist you are
under no obligation to pay them anything however, their
local fare and lunch would be much welcome.
Every guide is thoroughly vetted to make sure that they
do not have a criminal record and they are bound to
follow some simple guidelines such as not to ask you
for any money or favours - they are there for your service
