Child Aid Gambia is a small Charitable Non-Profit Organisation
established on the 10 April, 2011, based in the UK but
working solely in The Gambia to alleviate
poverty and suffering of children. CAG provides
financial support for children who wish to attend school,
but do not have the financial means to do so. Their
aim is to improve the lives of children and families
who live in poverty and are suffering extreme hardship.
Child Aid Gambia does this by providing financial support
for needy children, supplying vital clothing and footwear,
books and writing materials, organising sponsorship
for school age children. Education
is seen by the Gambians as the only real way out of
the poverty trap. The charity also raise money
for digging
wells in areas which have no access to clean drinking
water.
