 RSOD
is a village focused non-governmental organisation registered
in Banjul. Its membership is comprised of people with
different types of physical challenges such as the hard
of hearing, mentally challenged, physically disabled
and the deaf.
It was established because most of the DPOs were concentrated
in the western half of The Gambia and those people in
the east were not being represented by their own associations.
The organisation campaigns for people with disabilities
to gain access to public health services, general amenities
and medical treatments.
