Ecole Francaise de Banjul is a French language school
in Gambia teaching a total of about 80 students between
the ages of 2 years (TPS)
to 16 years (CNED) of age covering nursery up to high
school grades. It is part of the 450 schools in the
network of the AEFE (Agency for French Education Abroad).
is an international school that enrols both local nationals
and foreign children. There are currently pupils from
25 nationalities being taught the French education program
in French and partly English: mathematics, history,
science, geography, art, civic education etc.
• Because there are only 15 to
18 students per class the school's equipment is in a
better condition than many other schools, for example
their computers and classroom furniture.
Through French language education children benefit through
the opening up of a larger range of career opportunities
around the world especially if they are already conversant
in the English language.
