Information:
The Pro-Poor Advocacy Group (Pro-PAG) was established in Banjul
in 2003 by several organisations and individuals who were
alarmed at the poverty
situation in The Gambia.
The main mission of the NGO is to advocate for the betterment
of standards of living of the poorest in the community, the
excluded and marginalised by increasing their capacity to
take part in the development of pro-poor policies, schemes,
projects and monitoring of spending.
The Civil Society Organisation (CSO) is focused on working
with the government on pro-poor programmes and policies utilising
the annual budget.
