Information:
The main objective of the NGO called HDS is to allow for greater
access to healthcare
services for the deprived and underprivileged as well as increasing
the productivity of farmers in certain geographical areas
of The Gambia. These locations are Kiang and the Fonis in
the Lower and Western River Regions.
The aim of the HDS development program is to enhance the welfare
of people's lives in rural
communities. They realise that for this to be attained and
maintained requires the focused efforts of the community.
