Information:
The independent record label Da Block Entertainment Studio aims to give
opportunities for young, talented artists to enter the Gambian
music
industry by showcasing their talents and get guidance and technical
assistance so as to get their songs produced onto CD. It also allows
established artists to use modern recording facilities in order to
release their latest albums or singles.
The music company was founded by the Hip Hop artist Mo Hawk aka Rap Khalifa whose a member
of the famous local band called Da Fugitivzs Crew.
The studio is equipped with the latest digital equipment such as
mixers and computerised editing machines which records
hip hop / rap, reggae,
Ndaga / Mbalax and other popular tunes.
