Company Profile:
The sawmill
is run by Moukhtara Holding and its main activity is the conversion of
round logs. It has a capacity production of 0.5cbm per day with
quantities produces being 122 cubic metres per day.
Provides good quality timber for
the building industry.
Most of the cut timber is either imported from Casamance, Senegal, or
is logged down at its Sifoe
Farm plantation located in Bonto in The Gambia.
The firm employs over 30 people in order to keep a constant flow of
the
production of wood products. Near the main gate Nyambai also sells Malina trunks for
shoring up formwork, scaffolding supports or fencing.
