resorts. Thomson's first package
group was flown on its Britannia Boeing aircraft to
Banjul Airport in
1978.
Since 2001 it has chosen to send its customers to
just 7 selected resort hotels in Gambia. They are the Corinthia Atlantic, Golden Beach
Hotel, Senegambia, Kairaba, Kombo Beach, Sunset Beach and the
Sheraton.

The travel company was created in 1965 by Lord Thomson, the Canadian
Newspaper owner, and went on a £1.6 billion stock market floatation in
