Ving is a Scandinavian tour operator based in Sweden, Norway
and Denmark, who charter flights to Gambia with Thomas Cook
Airlines. Formerly known as Vingressor, they began taking
Swedish tourists to Gambia during 1966/67 season. Their holiday
packages are sold in travel agents across Scandinavia, direct
to the customer and online.
The leisure group also caters for more specialist options
including golfing breaks, tours and flexible scheduled packages.
The company is now part of the Thomas Cook Group having being
acquired in the 1990s and make up one of their 5 divisions
in Europe.
