The next will be observed as a public holiday
in Gambia. This is the anniversary of the Crucifixion of Jesus.
Christians would attend church services in their local churches. All
shops and businesses are closed except for small local food
shopkeepers who are mainly Mauritanians or Fulani Muslims.
