Company Profile:
Brussels
Airlines NV/SA (100% owned by SN Airholding) was established in 2002 to
replace the bankrupt Sabena Airlines which went into liquidation on
the 7th November 2001. The new firm also incorporated the old SN
Brussels. It also merged with the formerly known Virgin Express on the
7th November 2006.
Destinations:
The carrier makes regular scheduled flights
to a number of West African destinations via
Brussels Airport with routes
including the Gambia's Banjul Airport, (see
video
of landing) Guinea Conakry, Liberia (Monrovia), Sierra
Leone (Freetown), Ivory Coast (Abidjan - Port Bouet Airport), and
Senegal (Dakar-Yoff-Léopold Sédar Senghor International Airport).
Among some of European destination airports are Copenhagen, Helsinki,
Strasbourg, Hamburg, Oslo, Geneva. In the UK the airline flies to
Gatwick airport, Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol and Newcastle.

Excess Baggage: Any baggage in
excess of the general baggage allowances is subject to excess baggage
charges: Europe: €10/kg, Medium and Long Haul: €14/kg. Different
charges may apply on codeshare flights and on some specific routes.
